On Thursday 4th July, Sir Alec Shelbrooke was re-elected to serve as the Member of Parliament for Wetherby & Easingwold.
Commenting, Alec said, "Thank you to all 20,597 fellow residents who voted to elect me as your local Member of Parliament. To those whose vote I didn’t secure this time, I will work hard for you wherever you live or for whomever you voted. I’ll continue to be an active and accessible local MP, delivering a positive plan for our market towns and rural villages."
