On Thurday 21st March, Sir Alec Shelbrooke MP took part in a debate on the readiness of the UK's armed forces.
Intervening in the debate, Sir Alec drew on experience from his previous role as Minister for Procurement in the Ministry of Defence (MoD), where he saw first-hand how vital this investment is to enable the MoD to deliver on defence projects, and raised the urgent need to boost spending on the UK's defence.
