In November, Sir Alec co-signed a letter from HospiceUK to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care (below), highlighting the pressures facing hospices and outlining the vital function that they serve in our local community.
Sir Alec has now received a response from the Minister (below) and now plans to continue to raise these concerns, on behalf of local hospices, in his discussions with officials in the Department for Health and Social Care.
